All persons, including US and Canadian Citizens must have a valid PASSPORT to enter the Mexico. If you have a passport book (passport cards are not accepted for air travel), please make sure it is valid until at least March 2024. URGENT!!! If your passport is not current, please renew now, or if it does expire, begin the renewal process within 4 months of the wedding. If you do not have one, please begin the process of getting one. Travel Protection can provide protection for items such as trip cancellation; medical emergencies; lost or damaged baggage; trip interruption or delay expense; terrorism coverage; etc. Pricing will vary based on total room/airfare value and travelers age.
Should you wish to purchase Travel Insurance, which we highly suggest, please discuss with Karen at the time you make your deposit-Insurance must be paid for at the time of deposit.
The government of Mexico requires current proof of citizenship, a photo ID and a valid passport for entry into Mexico. TIP: Carry a photocopy of your passport and keep the original in a safe place and make sure your passport does not expire within 6 months or you might be denied entry into Mexico, even for shorter visits! You will also be required to fill out a customs declarations form.
